Life at OMI

At OMI, our expert educators embrace the Montessori educational philosophy in everything they do. Our programs for infants (0-2 years) and children (2-6 years) are designed to support their cognitive, sensory, social, motor, and language development. Through carefully selected materials and tools that facilitate the natural acquisition of English, our daily routines nurture each child’s innate love of learning. Committed to healthy and organic nutrition, our school seamlessly integrates learning into every aspect of life with thoughtfully designed workshops and expansive green spaces for both infants and children.

Daily Flow at OMI

Our schools open their doors at 7:30 AM. Breakfast starts at 9:00 AM, marking the first energetic step into the day for our children. Following breakfast, a fruit snack is offered. After this, at 10:00 AM, OMI’s rich and engaging educational programs begin.

Children participate in workshops that are carefully planned according to their age groups and interests. After completing their activities, it’s time for lunch. Following lunch, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, younger children take naps, while older children continue with school readiness activities, free play, structured games, and obstacle course exercises.

Afternoon workshop activities resume after 3:00 PM. Our schools, which serve a total of five meals per day, include an afternoon snack and another fruit break. Daily activities are completed by 5:00 PM, after which free play time begins. The school day concludes at 6:30 PM, marking the end of a full and enriching day at OMI.

Workshops at OMI

As the OMI-ORAN MONTESSORI INTERNATIONAL PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN family, we aim to develop your children with dozens of educational and instructive workshops.

Nutrition at OMI

At OMI – Oran Montessori International Preschool & Kindergarten, all meals are freshly prepared each day by our certified in-house chef. We use only the highest quality ingredients to support children’s healthy development, including olive oil, butter, farm-fresh eggs, and homemade yogurt. Our soups are enriched with nutrient-rich bone broth. Menus are thoughtfully crafted using seasonal vegetables and legumes.

Meals are prepared with minimal spices, low oil, salt, and sugar to ensure a balanced and healthy diet. Our school provides five meals a day for children: breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and two fruit-and-yogurt breaks. Monthly meal plans are shared electronically with parents for full transparency. Additionally, a dedicated notebook system allows teachers to record and share detailed information about each child’s daily meals with their families.

The health and safety of our children are our top priorities. Allergy tracking lists are meticulously prepared based on parental information and are carefully monitored for each child. For children in the 0-2 age group with allergies, families are welcome to provide alternative food options if desired, and this process is managed with the utmost care.

Health at OMI

OMI-ORAN MONTESSORI INTERNATIONAL PRESCHOOL&KINDERGARTEN

We maintain a strict policy regarding illness to ensure the health and safety of all children. Sick children are not admitted to school. Medications are not administered unless a specialist doctor has provided a documented prescription for a regular medication routine. In such cases, parents must submit a signed consent form along with the doctor’s report. No medication will be administered without these documents.

If a child exhibits symptoms such as fever, shivering, coughing, breathing difficulties, fatigue, body aches, headaches, sore throat, nasal congestion, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, parents are required to pick up their child from school immediately and consult a doctor, as these may indicate a contagious illness. Parents are also responsible for informing the school of any medical diagnoses.

In the event of an accident or injury at school, first aid-certified teachers provide immediate care. Parents are contacted without delay and informed of the situation with complete and accurate details.
